What made you decide to become CISSP certified?

I wanted to expand my professional horizons and join with the team of Cyber Security at Pipedrive. For me, the CISSP offered structured approach to gain a high-level overview of all areas of a cyber security program. Although I was familiar with several security domains from my previous IT experience, CISSP introduced to topics that I had not been involved with on a daily basis.

What made the 5-day CISSP Training Seminar a good learning experience? 

I spent 2 weeks studying CISSP materials independently. Although books were comprehensive, I still lacked the experience and knowledge of some of the security domains which made it harder to consume. CISSP Training Seminar allowed me to ask questions on the cyber security concepts I could not understand on my own. Additionally, working with a group is so much more fun than learning solo.

Would you recommend the 5-day CISSP Training Seminar with Cycubix to other Information Security professionals – why? 

Yes. Cycubix training provided a lot of materials for independent studying and instructor Fabio Cerullo always found extra references to have better understanding of concepts in cyber security. Following the course (and through parallel independent study and practice tests) – I went to the CISSP exam the next business day and passed the first try. Without Cycubix training I would have postponed the exam at least a few months.

How has the CISSP certification helped you in your role? 

As I am quite new in the role of the Cyber Security Engineer, I learned a lot of concepts and I understand how and why my team members are currently working as they are. CISSP allows me to communicate with my team and with my organization using terminology and concepts from the cybersecurity industry. I am positive this is just the beginning of my career in cyber security and I will have a lot of opportunities to grow even more.
